Breckenridge Ski Resort
1599 C Summit County Rd. 3,
Breckenridge,
Colorado 80424
Breckenridge is absolutely beautiful! The skiing of course is great, though can be a bit crowded. Breckenridge itself is just a fun place to go. There is so much snow and cute little shops, you feel like you are in something from a Christmas movie. It is a bit more expensive up there but if you are planning a Colorado Getaway, I would suggest keeping Breckenridge in mind.

Disney California Adventure

"Cool, but not better thhan Disneyland"
I mean, what is better that Disneyland. California Adventures is fun, there are some great shows to be seen and some very cool rides. We actually went to California Adventures by mistake because that and Disneyland are right next to each other. So, needless to say we experienced both parks. If you are interested in CA, I would suggest getting a hopper pass so you can go between the parks. Like I said, it has a lot to offer but if I had to choose I would choose Disneyland, especially with the kiddos.

Disneyland Park
1313 Harbor Boulevard,
Anaheim,
California 92802
Everyone loves the Disney parks, no matter what age you are. So by all means take your kids here and enjoy. But not before some planning first. There is so much to do and see so I would for sure get a pass that cover a few days. Keep in mind the park is open very late so you can always leave and come back. A nearby hotel would be a big plus, and many offer shuttles to the park. Overall, there is a ton to do at Disney so go, be imaginative and enjoy!

Fort Mackinac
7127 Huron Road,
Mackinac Island,

"A cool historical lesson"
I absolutely Love Mackinac Island. What a great place to bring kids. A small area with no vehicles and you have to get around by walking, biking, or horseback riding. With that being said, I for one thought Fort Mackinac was pretty cool, though I could see where younger children would not enjoy it. You really need to understand history somewhat to truly appreciate this, so if you have older children by all means go, otherwise stick to outdoor fun for the little ones.

Copper Mountain Ski Resort
209 10 Mile Circle,
Copper Mountain,
Colorado 80443
Copper Mountain is probably one of my favorite places to ski/snowboard. It is getting pretty congested but all of the good ski areas in Colorado are. The key is to plan for it, leave early, and play to stay the night. That way you can truly enjoy skiing and not have to worry about getting back on the busy road. Copper Mountain in great, they have instructional courses for young and old. They have a nice big lodge and let's face it, the view up there is phenomenal!
