"MOLD, FILTH, DISREPAIR"
Our group stayed in 2 rooms & it was AWFUL!! First, the mold smell was obvious when we entered the room, even though they were apparently attempting to eliminate it with the odor remover "Febreze." We woke up with headaches. The microwave had a a 2" hole in the plastic door (danger, danger!!) The entire place (room, hall, etc.) reeked of cigarettes (even though it was a non-smoking room). Everything was FILTHY, even the little note card from the maid. The stains were not countable, the pillows were lumpy. There were grimy finger prints all over the mirror & T.V., a hole in the wall, broken door frame. I thought that maybe the place had been closed down & was running under the radar or something. Mostly, though, it is the mold I am concerned with, because I after staying there that night I developed a cough & a tightness in my chest & throat that has not left me, after 3 days of being gone. Someone told us that the town had flooded. I am very concerned about the mold issue there. I tried to call the number listed, & got no answer, then after about 20 rings, a mechanical device picked up the phone & made a beep sound. Reported to Better Business Bureau. STAY AWAY
