I took my 2 and 3 year olds here because they love the beach but are a little intimidated by the waves. The water was so warm, and rather clean. It was not very busy, and lifeguards were on watch close by. It was a perfect day at the beach! The only down side, is I didn't see any showers to hose them off before getting back in the car. They did, however have nice bathrooms.

Better than any ol' frozen yogurt, this is a self-serve wonderland! You pick from several flavors of softserve froyo, fill your cup with as much as you will eat, then load on all different kinds of toppings. Then pay by weight. They have fresh fruit, crumbled cookies, cereal, nuts, hot fudge... it's amazing.

I loved that this was indoor, in Santa Clarita's summer heat, it's nice to be in the air conditioning while having fun with the family. The course is painted as if you are underwater, complete with sunken ships and treasure, sharks, mermaids, all blacklight responsive. The theme changes to pirates above shore part way through, which kept my young kids interested in the surroundings.

After taking my kids here a few times during the free play time ($10 per kid, free adults) there was no question that their birthday party should be held here. I was relieved when everything was so easy! They even kept a list of presents for me! My kids are still little so the guests were family in all ages. Everyone loved it. And I love that my small kids were safe, and I didn't have to clean up afterwards!

This is probably my favorite place to take my kids in Santa Clarita. The animals are so approachable, and the staff is very informative. My kids loved rubbing the pigs' bellies, petting the friendly emu, and learning the stories of all these brave animals. Every child should go here at least once, no matter the age!
