Main Street
Main Street,
Logan,
Utah
"Not as quaint as it once was"
Main Street in Logan Utah used to be lined with small, locally owned shops with one of a kind wares and plenty of charm. As the years have passed these small shops have made way to larger franchise shops and a much less personal experience. This may be due to the growth of teh area, but in any case, this main street no longer has the sort of stroll-along feel it once had. The traffic on this street is also unbearable, so I recommend parking on the block just west of mains treet and traversing on foot.

Heber Valley Railroad | kids travel, kids activities
Heber Valley Railroad
450 South 600 West,
Heber City,
Utah 84032
"Expensive!"
This is a fun railroad! Kids will really enjoy spending the day here, especially when the Thomas the Tank Engine activities are running. My main objection si the cost. It is much more expensive for what you get than other family friendly acitivites in the area. Because of this fact, we do not attend this activity mroe than once a year, if that.

Museum of Church History and Art | kids travel, kids activities
Museum of Church History and Art
45 N. West Temple,
Salt Lake City,
Utah
"Great for anyone"
The wonderful thing about this museum is that it is filled with beautiful art both about the starting of the LDS church and not. It has rotating exhibits and a great area for kids. The artwork that is not associated with teh LDS church is also well chosen and beautiful, but this is alos a great palce for tourists to get a feel for the Mormon history through beautiful works of art.

"LOVE this Library!"
Our entire family lvoes this library. With its unique and award winning design, its architecture is gorgeous for adults. The kids section is fun and whimsicle with many spots to sit and enjoy a book. Adults will especially wnjoy this library for it's spaciousness, high quantity of books and other materials and laid back atmosphere.

Gardner Village

West Jordan,

"Something for Everyone!"
Adults will love browsing the different artisan shops on the grounds of Garden Village and kids will love the seasonal activities. Petting Zoos and Pony Rides prevail in teh Summer and we have visited during the Fall when they had decorated the entire landscape with fun Halloween decor. The restaurant has really excellent food (try the deep fried Avacado Appetizer) for a reasonable price. Our entire family really enjoys visiting here.
