The Tech Museum of Innovation
201 South Market Street,
San Jose,
California 95113
This technology/science museum has cool things for kids of various ages, we recommend it! It's also in a neat part of San Jose, very clean and nice, across the street from a green area & plaza and from nice restaurants. It also has a big IMAX theater inside it which shows cool science-type IMAX movies.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
400 Beach Street,
Santa Cruz,
California 95060
We love the boardwalk. It's not a big amusement park, but not tiny either. It has good variety of activities, though more on the rollercoaster/teenage or adult side, in our opinion. The rollercoasters are lots of fun, and the setting is amazing right next to the beach.

"The Ocean & Sun, what else do you need?"
Ahhhh, we love this place. So relaxing... A couple of warnings though: check the weather in Half Moon Bay before going, because it can be much colder and windier than in San Francisco or the Peninsula, and it can also be very foggy at certain times of the year. Bring layers!!!
