I have enjoyed visiting this zoo on several occasions and love to great selection of animals. I can spend hours looking through all of the neat exhibits. Some of the best exhibits are the indoor underwater exhibits. This is a great place to take kids of all ages! I would definitely recommend bringing a stroller for younger kids, because it is a lot of walking.

I have been to the domes on several occasions and have enjoyed the unique and amazing foliage. It is so neat to see the different plant life in each dome and to gain an understanding of other climates. That said, I would not really recommend this for children as there is not a lot to occupy them outside of the birds. :)

The Mississippi Gulf Coast offers miles of beautiful beaches and lots of fantastic restaurants. You can enjoy the beautiful view while dining on the bounty of the ocean. There are public sidewalks along the beach and also bus tours of the local attractions. You can walk across the high-rise bridge connecting Ocean Springs with Biloxi and enjoy the breathtaking view!

We enjoyed visiting Bellingrath Gardens last spring and enjoyed the breathtaking beauty of the well manicured gardens. The tour of the home was amazing also. Be sure to take lots of water and a good pair of walking shoes. The boat ride was a lot of fun also, but a little chilly since it was early spring.

I have enjoyed visiting the Racine Zoo on several occasions. It is an extremely small zoo, with only a few animals. That being said, it is also very beautiful and very enjoyable to walk through. It is nice to be able to see a few animals without spending a whole day in an overcrowded zoo. There is also a place to picnic.
