The trolley ride at Christmastime can't be beat! Michigan Avenue is festooned with thousands and thousands of tiny white lights in the trees. The trolley driver narrates fun and interesting facts about the streets where you're traveling. You can get off the trolley at many stops and reboard when you're ready. It does look like a wonderland!

I recommend shopping at Water Tower Place. It is on the Magnificent Mile in Chicago. Michigan Avenue is chock full of fantastic stores and you'll find many of them at Water Tower Place. You'll find almost anything you want. There are also many great places to eat and you can catch a movie if your feet need a break. Have fun!

Get back to nature with a trip to the National Wildlife Refuge. It is a large part of Sanibel Island in southwest Florida. I recommend the tram ride. You'll learn a lot about the refuge, the multitude of bird species and all you could ever want to know about the mangrove tree! A great two hours in a gorgeous setting.
