We absolutely love the Polar Express adventures. The kids were the perfect age and were very familiar with the story so to personally experience the event was really special. Hot coca and your own "gift of Christmas" too. There are limited ticket available so inquire early.

A Magic Kingdom classic. Hearing that is might be closing soon, make sure you get there at least once! Waited with a 6 and 10 year old in a 45 minute line 2x and they still wanted more! You sit in a spaceship for an indoor rollercoaster ride~ awesome.

Canoe or kyak rentals, picnic, swimming in the natural spring, Spend a few hours or a whole day. Loved it! Stands out with my kids as a place they have wanted to go back and visit even after 4 years! The springs are cool and refreshing. No real "beach" where the springs are and it can be tricky to get in and out.

If you are a Cape visitor and have never been on a whale watch it is WELL worth the money. It is almost guaranteed that you will see a whale. I have probably been on 4-6 trips and am always amazed by their beauty and size. The trip CAN be a bit long for younger kids my kids at 8 (who also love boats) LOVED this trip. Don't forget your camera!

Grew up in the area and have been for Day out with Thomas, Bluegrass festivals, Cranberry festival, Holiday lights, Car shows and just a summer day out. Many years and many traditions. Yes, it is a little pricey- but you can usually find coupons. During the summer there are a few "carnival-type" rides. If it has been awhile since you have been, you will be pleased to see (as was I) that there have been many necessary renovations over the years. It will forever be a destination for my family.
