We recently took a family day at the Asheboro Zoo, and we had a GREAT time! Lots of exhibits to see, and the animals appear to have adequate living space and excellent care. Food choices inside the Zoo aren't great (think cafeteria food - but overpriced), so next time we'll probably carry a picnic lunch. Lots of walking, and next time we'll wait until cooler weather - but a great trip (and reasonably priced = $10 per person) overall!
