The Outer Banks (OBX) is the place to be for some beach, sand, sun, or just some R & R. One of the best spots for a long family vacation. There are a plethora of vacation rental homes to choose from and very affordable for every family. The house that we rented was right on the ocean front and was fully stocked with kitchen supplies, games, movies, television/dvd/vcr, outdoor toys, beach chairs, and many more. There are plenty of shopping and outdoor activities for all ages.
Our family stayed there for a week and we didn't have enough.....we wanted to stay longer.

Hotel Del Coronado was absolute fun for my kids. We stayed at the Villas which has an awesome view of the ocean and private pools for guests staying at the Beach villas. The rooms are very luxurious with high end bed linens, toiletries, decor, and a huge tub (enough room for me and two kids)! Every morning, guests who are staying at the beach villas are offered continental breakfast overlooking the beach front. A must see!
