Experience Music Project-EMP
325 5th Ave N,
Seattle,
Washington 98109
"One for music loving teens."
This is a very unique museum and is found near the base of the Space Needle. Lots of fun interactive exhibits that music loving kids will love. A quirky little portion of it also houses science fiction exhibits too. Not everyone will like this but those that do like it will LOVE it!

Space Needle
400 Broad St,
Seattle,
Washington 98109
"Great fun but not cheap!"
A really iconic part of a trip to Seattle is a trip to the top of the Space Needle. It was built as part of the World's Fair in Seattle in the '60s and you can tell by the space age vibe of the structure. Delicious food in the spinning restaurant at the top but expensive. The views might make it worth it though!

Ride the Ducks
516 Broad St,
Seattle,
Washington 98109
"So much fun!"
The Ducks are amphibious vehicles that give a fun filled tour of Seattle and even go out on the lake. Everyone gets a "quacker" to wear and use during the tour. Little kids through teenagers will love this tour. The drivers are terrific and so entertaining. I enjoy riding it every time I travel to Seattle!

Crater Lake National Park
P.O. Box 7,
Crater Lake,
Oregon 97604
"Crater Lake is awesome!"
Definately someplace you will want your kids to experience at least once in their life. There are reasonable campsites and a stunning lodge that was refurbished a few years ago. A trip to Wizard Island is a must too! As with all the National Parks, this place is kid friendly with great, fun activities.

Portland Saturday Market | kids travel, kids activities
Portland Saturday Market
Waterfront Park,
SW Naito Pkwy @ SW Ankeny St,
Portland,
Oregon 97209
"A whole family fav!"
This is one of Portland's best treausres. So much to see, lots of street entertainers and inexpensive food vendors. The craft sellers are strictly vetted so the items for sale are really nice quality. Definately a Bohemian feel to this one. But the best part is probably the people watching!
