This is a great museum if your kids enjoy air and space. They have everything from the beginning of flight to walking on the moon with an actual space shuttle. They also have a flight simulator where you can actually simulate flying and landing a plane. My kids loved this, and it was only a few buck for the ticket. Also, the museum is located in Balboa Park which is absolutely beautiful! If you are a San Diego resident, you can get into the museum for FREE on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Can't beat that!!!

If your kids like ships, the navy, and history then this is the perfect place for them. Even if they don't enjoy the things I have listed above, they will enjoy this day. Plan on it being a full day trip. There is so much to see and learn. You actually get to tour the entire ship from the deck where planes use to land to the sailor's actual sleeping quarters. On the 4th of July, you can purchase tickets to actually be on the ship's deck to watch the fire works. How awesome is that!!! This is a must do with your kids!

I take my kids here every year! My kids love this place (ages 11 and 16!!!) Almost all of the displays are totally interactive and hands on. So, they get to play while learning!! They also have an IMAX screen. They change the movies every so often. We saw the Mars expedition and the Ocean and Sea life one. Amazing! The IMAX tickets are separate from the museum tickets, but it is money well spent. Take your kids and have fun learning!!

I would reccomend for everyone to take their kids at least once in their life to the Sequoia Park and Zoo. It is an amazing place where kids and adults alike can see, hear and experience nature at its finest!!! The cost can be a little pricey, especially when you have a big family ( we have 3 kids) but it is money well spent!
