Ikea - Bolingbrook
750 E Boughton Rd,
Bolingbrook,
Illinois
The prices are great, there is an awesome restaurant with super cheap kids meals, fun shopping carts with cars attached for kids to ride in, various small play areas throughout the store, and a giant play area for potty trained and older kids. I love how organized the store is and I could walk around it for hours! Even the restrooms are clean and nice!

Woodfield Mall
5 West Dr,
Schaumburg,
Illinois 60173
"Expensive but lots to offer!"
There are so many stores at Woodfield that even though I have been there a million times, I still get lost. Plenty of restaurants, but no food court. It does though now have a nice kids play area with Looney Tunes theme. The prices though are high as the tax rate is 10% so I try not to shop there is I don't have too! Nice to walk around though and window shop!

Millennium Park
201 E Randolph St,
Chicago,
Illinois 60601
I love that you can just walk around Millennium Park and relax. It has a garden area, concert area, the water area, memorials, and more! It is spaced out and there is a lot of walking but worth it and free! My kids love the water area where they can run and play!

Lincoln Park Zoo
2001 N Clark St,
Chicago,
Illinois 60614
I love that this zoo is free and so relaxing. It is right on the lake basically and you can walk around the zoo, children's farm, or even take a paddleboat ride. This zoo is very tightly packed together so you can see a lot quickly. Not a lot of walking and there are plenty of places to picnic. I think parking only costs $10 which is nothing when you figure admission is $0!

The Field Museum
1400 S. Lake Shore Dr.,
Chicago,
Illinois 60605
"Love the different featured exhibits!"
There is always something going on and being featured at the Field Museum. It is pricey and for ages 3-4 and up. It is a classic museum though that I have been visiting since I was a kid and I probably visit it once every few years to see what has changed.
