Galveston - Rainforest Cafe

Galveston,
Texas 77551
"My kids LOVED this place..."
The food is a little overpriced but teh atmosphere is worth it. We took the kids after a long day on the beach and they have begged to go back. We let the older kids take a ride on the little roller coaster they had and they enjoyed it. We didn't let the smaller ones because there were warnings that it might be a little scary. If you are there for a birthday go ahead a splurge on the volcano cake.....there is PLENTY for the entire group!

"FUN and GREAT location!"
My family and I used to go here all the tim.e We love to go here and swim on the roof! It is right on the river and we love to walk right out and onto the boat. Definatley a great place to stay! Have not taken my kids yet but I think it would be a good family place to stay.

Dewberry Farm
7705 FM 362,
Brookshire,
Texas 77423
We had a pretty good time when we spent the day at Dewberry farm but be prepared to be nickeled and dimed to death. Everything you do cost you extra and it was pretty crowded. My kids really enjoyed the hay ride and getting to pick out their own pumpkin. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Houston Holocaust Museum
5401 Caroline Street,
Houston,
Texas 77004
We went to this museum and the information was pretty good but it was a really small museum. The staff were pretty friendly and informative. My husband and I went and I am glad that we did not take the kids. Our kids are small and would not have found much interesting about this place. I think it might be good for high school kids who are really interested in learning more about it!

"GREAT day with the kids!"
My kids and I have been here several times and they love to go. They always enjoy the interactive exhibits and activities that are available. Staff is very good with the kids and always willing to go the extra mile. Sometimes finding a place to park is a challenge so be prepared. Reasonably priced!
