The nice things about Crown Center is that you can enjoy shopping indoors when the weather is crummy. There are a lot of unique shops as well as larger department stores. The decor is nice and there are often different activities going on for families. Check the schedule on their website before going.

If you plan on going to the top of the arch, there are a couple of things to warn your kiddos about ahead of time. First, on a very windy day, the arch will sway a bit. Second, to get to the top, they load 5 people at a time on a tiny little "pod" that goes up a track to the top. It can feel a little cramped and the ride can be bumpy.

Worlds of Fun has a lot to offere inculding rides, games and shows. There are several rides suitable for younger children, but a lot are better for big kids. You can get a pass for both the amusement park and water park, but one day isn't enough to enjoy both, so it's not really worth it.
