Washington State Ferries
From Bremerton to Seattle,
Seattle,

"Fun for adults, somewhat boring for the little ones."
I was really excited to take my little army on a day of ferry rides around the sound but ended up being not super impressed with the atmosphere on the ferries. They don't have any activities for kids or even a very good cafe setup. It's a fun adventure for older kids or adults but make sure to bring along games and snacks for the little ones to keep them busy!

Pacific Science Center

Seattle,

"Everchanging and always new fun!"
The Pacific Science Center is an awesome place to take the kids to explore and learn! They are always featuring different exhibits to teach about new exciting topics or whatever happens to be popular in the media at the time. They also have all of the classic exhibits like space and plant life. Last time we went, they even had a Butterfly Garden that you could walk through and have the butterflies land right on your hand. It was awesome!

Seattle Aquarium
1483 Alaskan Way,
Seattle,
Washington 98101
"Overpriced and underwhelming."
The Seattle Aquarium is usually and unfortunately quite the disappointment. We go every summer and I am always hoping for something new and exciting but they never seem to impress. They have a severe lack of exhibits and are quite spendy! They have a cafe area located further into the aquarium but like the admission to the aquarium itself, the cafe is way overpriced. It's an ok place to spend the day but don't get your hopes up for anything spectacular.

Pike's Place Market

"Perfect learning opportunity!!"
I absolutely love taking my little ones out to Pike Place on nice summer days. It gets us out of the house but it is also filled with a huge variety of produce and flowers so we can talk about everything we see while we walk through. It is so much fun to play I-Spy as we walk through the vendors, taking turns finding objects of different colors or sizes. The vendors are always super friendly too! Love it!

Odyssey 1
2310 W. Mildred #110,
Tacoma,

"Great place to use up energy!"
I took my 18 month old to Odyssey 1 over the summer and he absolutely loved it! There were a bunch of other kids his age running around with their parents so they were all able to interact and play together on the toys. It was super reasonable pricing; Only $2 to run around until he was too tired to run anymore! We will definitely be back!
