There was so much to do..pretend to be a vet, fireman, grocery store worker, pizza maker, news man and much more! I probally spent a good 4 hrs or more in there. The kids had so much fun. Next year I want to see the botantical garden next door.

The Pier | kids travel, kids activities
The Pier
800 Second Avenue Northeast,
Saint Petersburg,
Florida
"Mostly for the older crowd"
The Pier has a very unique structure and its great to see when visiting. Not much to do for the kiddies besides the small aquarium. The last visit we took there they did have a real pirate ship docked outside but they werent giving tours at that time. You can feed the pelicans outside and see them up close and personal.lol They do have great food to choose from and some beautiful views.

"Beautiful!"
There is really only one word to describe this beach
BEAUTIFUL!!
I used to live in Bradenton and this was my fav beach anywhere. The sand is so white and cool, you dont burn your feet when you walk on it. And the water is gorgeous...crystal clear... you wont be afraid to swim at this beach you can see clearly all around you.
They also had little gatherings on the beach where people play music and you can watch the sunset..Its just an all around Beautiful Beach!

"Plenty to see"
We went here for the first time this year,Although we all loved the train we were kinda disapointed when we road around the park and didnt see anything. But when we started walking around we quikly realized there was a lot more to see. The had a little petting zoo that was like a little farm. On the other side they had elephants, rhinos, zebras, giraffes and plenty other animals.
I would recommend that you bring swimming clothes, as soon as you come into the park they had a area where the kids can play. Also the price was extremly cheap..havent been in a park for that price ever!

"Great Museum"
Been here for the past 3 yrs. and the kids love it. The added a dinosaur exhibit about a year ago and that was the kids fav. this year. We all taking the nature walk, it seemed so secluded that you wouldnt realize you were at a museum. They had so many different things to see and do. I especially loved the owl:)
