Glenn Miller Park
2200 National Road West,
Richmond,
Indiana 47374
"Fun for the whole family"
This is a HUGE park and possibly my biggest regret moving from Richmond. My children had so much fun here. There is a huge playground. It includes a bigger kids area and also a section for smaller children. A big pond that offers paddle boats in the summer. Plenty of picnic areas whether you need a shelter or just one of the random placed picnic tables throughout the park. A skatepark is available for older children. Tennis courts are available by reservation or first come first serve. I would love to say more about this park but it is just one of those things you need to really experience if ever in the area. AMAZING

Glenbrook Square Mall
4201 Coldwater Road,
Fort Wayne,
Indiana 46845
"Fun"
If you love shopping this is a great place to go to. The girls love it here because there are so many shops to choose from. This mall is HUGE. There are many play areas within the mall for play breaks when the children get antsy. The food court is your typical food court fare (chinese, pizza, pretzels, ice cream, etc) Outside of the mall there are also many great little strip malls if you cant find exactly what youre looking for. Great way to spend a day shopping

Tippecanoe Mall
2415 S Sagamore Parkway,
Lafayette,

"Shopping!"
My girls love shopping! This mall has alot of the stores of bigger malls without feeling to big or intimidating with children. Anchored by Macys, JC Penny, Sears, and Kohls there are a wide variety of shops. You have your typical Yankee candle, Wet Seal, Teenbopper shops, a great food court. There is also a Rubber Band bounce in the middle of the mall. Even if you dont participate it is fun to watch.

Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette

Lafayette,

":)"
I LOVE community theater. Whenever I get a chance to see a show this production company puts on I am always there. Many shows can be seen by the entire family and its such a fun cultural event. Always produced with the highest possible for community theatre. Is it Broadway? No. But almost better because its not.

Imagination Station
600 N 4th,
Lafayette,

"Educational"
This is a science, space, and technology center. The children get to play with many interactive exhibits where they learn many concepts. There is also a gift shop on property where they can purchase little trinkets to bring home the lessons. On various Saturdays throughout the year they also offer classes where they can learn additional lessons and have alot of fun doing it!
