Woodburn Company Stores
1001 Arney Rd.,
Woodburn,
Oregon 97071
These are a nice little cluster of shops. I wouldnt call them premium outlets, but they have enough outlets to check out during a bathroom break.
This was a great place to get out and stretch our legs on a long drive from Bend, Oregon.
I did not find anything special about these outlets though. They seemed to have lower end stores!

Pacific Inn of Redwood City
2610 El Camino Real,
Redwood City, California
"Not in the best neighborhood"
Not in the best neighborhood, but a small gem of a hotel. When we stayed here about 4 years ago, the price was $59 per night with continental breakfast included. This is a steal for anywhere in the bay area! Our room had a hot tub bath in the room.
The only issue with the hotel is that it is right on busy El Camino Real in Redwood City right across from a strip joint!

Stulsaft Park
3737 Farm Hill Blvd,
Redwood City,
California 94062
This park is AWESOME! Stulstaft Park has a water area for kids to cool off in the summer. Crayons shoot out water, and there is a water/sand play area.
The park also has swings and huge slides.
If you are looking for a creek locally, you can head down the hill for a picnic by the water.

The Baylands and the Duck Pond
2775 Embarcadro Road,
Palo Alto,
California 94301
"Great place for dogs and kids"
A wonderful place in Palo Alto to walk your dog or take the kids for a walk. The Palo Alto Baylands is a huge open space where you can spend hours.
There are a few paved paths, and there is a small duck pond with ducks and geese. You can feed the ducks if you want to bring a loaf of bread. The kids will have a blast, but watch out for all of the bird poop!
