Hiking/Camping Gear

"The peapod tent actually folds up into this small flat round bag that is easy to carry around. It fits in a backpack. When you open up the flat round bag it literally springs open with a bounce! It's somewhat bewildering the first time you open it. The downside (at least for me) is trying to figure out how to re-fold it back flat after using it. My wife has this down, I usually take a few tries to get it right. I only wish normal tents were "instant setup" like the peapod!"

Explaining that the peapod folds down so small and sets up so easily is very helpful!

I was SO disappointed when my Boylan Bridge Brewpub review didn't seem to go through. Thanks for correcting it. I love this website!

"I don't know of much along this route, but here are a few things (other than zoos). Exploration Place and the Old Cowtown Museum in NE Witchita might be worth stopping at, though they are slightly off of 35. In Oklahoma City, the Science Museum Oklahoma and the surrounding "Adventure District" is worth visiting.

Thanks for the great tip on OKC's Science Museum.  We can't wait to check it out.

I don't work at redweek.com but we got turned on to them a few years ago, and quickly found out that by renting timeshares through them we can afford the family vacations that are so important to us.  For budget accommodations they just can't be beat!

Tell me more, tell me more, I just love your great tips! We are looking to book a family trip to Hawaii and this is one adventure we would love to try with the kids, they love the beach in Cali but surfing in Hawaii would be the best!! I'm excited after reading your story!!!
Thanks,
Annie
