Fair Haven Beach State Park
Route 104A,
Sodus,
New York
Good camping here. The beach is beautiful, lots of room to set up chairs and blankets. We tent camped with a group of other families so the kids had a blast. The bathrooms were clean and convenient (important with kids) and the tent store had extra wood and supplies in case you forgot something. If you don't want to tent camp, they also have cabins for rent. Another plus is there are canoes and rowboats to rent and plenty of nature trails too.

Taughannock Falls State Park
2221 Taughannock Park Road,
Trumansburg,
New York
This another nice place to take your family camping. There is a pretty easy 1 mile hike to the falls that most kids 5+ should be able to handle. We brought water and snacks and hung out for a bit to rest once we made it to the falls. Our campground was located right near the walk, so it worked out well. From the campsite, you could also walk to the beach if you were feeling adventurous, but we usually drove. The beach is okay, a little rocky. But the kids didn't mind at all. There is a dock for good swimmers to swim out to and jump off of. Sometimes they have music and food to enjoy by the beach in the summer time.

Wegmans- Pittsford
3195 Monroe Avenue,
Rochester,
New York 14618
I gave Wegmans 5 stars because it is the best grocery store ever! Great selection in all departments, excellent customer service, fair prices, amazing kitchen appliance selection and seasonal items. Pittsford Wegmans has special parking spots close to the building for mom's w/kids and expectant moms. They have helping hand employees that can help you load your groceries into your car ( great when you have a baby or small kids) and a take out cafe that has the best food for all types of diets. I also love that they have cooking classes. They even offer them for children.

Stokoe Farms
656 South Road,
Scottsville,
New York 14546
I think this is one of the more expensive pumpkin farms to go to, but it is run very nicely and there is a lot to do for the money. Our favorite activity is the tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. There is a train ride smaller kids can go on and also some animals such as rabbits to see. There is also a giant wall of hay to climb up and a huge sandbox to play in. I almost forgot the giant slide too. Theres also a yummy snack bar and a nice gift shop to. At Christmas time, you can visit the farm and pick out a christmas tree or wreath.

Eastview Mall
7979 Pittsford-Victor Road (Route 96),
Victor,
New York 14564
This mall has everything you need, except a book store. Other than that, there's an abundance of kids stores: Gymboree, Children's Place, Gap Kids, Build-A-Bear, Janie & Jack, Pottery Barn Kids, Claire's, Sears, JC Penny, Macy's, Bon Ton, Lord & Taylor and there is a toy store too. Older kids can shop at Abercrombie, Hollister and many others. Younger kids love to ride the carousel in the food court for $1. There is a ton of places to eat or get a snack. For coffee, you can got to Gloria Jeans or Starbucks. There is valet parking in the front of the mall and a Regal Movie theater behind it that you would drive to. This is the best mall in Rochester in my opinion. Love it!
