Vitale's Restaurant
5779 Balsam Dr.,
Hudsonville,
Michigan 49426
"EXCELLANT ITALIAN FOOD"
Vitale's Restaurant in Hudsonville, Michigan has delicious Italian food in a relaxed atmosphere. Independantly owned, Vitale's has a dining room, bar, and pizza pick-up area. Their pizza is so cheesy and thick, just wonderful. Their pasta has that homemade taste. One of our favorites is the eggplant parmesan.

Van Andel Arena
130 West Fulton,
Grand Rapids,
Michigan
"Nice Arena"
The Van Andel Arena is very clean and easy to navigate. One nice thing is that there are plenty of bathrooms and they are also very clean. The seats are close together and there isn't much as far as leg room though, so you might want to make sure that your kids are seated between the adults in your group. The have a restaurant located right inside the arena now that is very good and decently priced (considering it is right in the arena.) Parking is in the lot across the street, not far at all.

San Chez Tapas Bistro
38 West Fulton,
Grand Rapids,
Michigan 49503
"Fun Dining Experience"
Authentic Spanish tapas dining. What's fun is that everyone orders a little plate of this and that and just shares. My kids loved to try rattlesnake! The blue cheese balls are amazing, as is the paella. One tip: if dining with children go for lunch or an early supper. Later it gets really busy and full of adults. If you're unfamiliar with downtown Grand Rapids you can check the restaurant's website and they'll show where to park and how to get there from where you are.

"Must see for Manatee Lovers!"
This is absolutely the best place for small children to see manatees. The park is very walkable, the size of a small zoo. The best part is the underwater viewing area whee you can see the manatees swimming. Also, the presentation by the manatee expert happens several times per day and is very informational and fun. Be sure to check out their website for the manatee-cam! Real-time video of the manatees at the park.

Disneys Caribbean Beach Hotel | kids travel, kids activities
Disneys Caribbean Beach Hotel
900 Cayman Way,
Lake Buena Vista, Florida
"Great place to stay, but not that economical"
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a great hotel to stay at, right on the disney property. We enjoyed our stay but I have to say that we didn't fully use all the ammenities. There is a beautiful pool with water slide that was fun but really we spent most of our time at the Parks. So you might consider staying at one of the less expensive Value Resorts and saving some money.
