North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences
11 West Jones Street,
Raleigh,
North Carolina 27601
This was actually the first museum we went to, when we moved here from New York. We love that there are 2 separate museums, and both have very well laid out exhibits. We always have to buy something from the gift shops, as there are so many great things to buy!

We have not been back to see the new dinosaur trail, but we did love the museum last time we went. The exhibits are great, and they get the kids asking a lot of questions...which is what we like them to do! We will be going back soon, as my 2 year old loves dinosaurs!

Marbles Kids Museum
201 East Hargett Street,
Raleigh,
North Carolina 27601
My kids are always asking to go to Marbles. Our membership has recently run out, so we can not afford to go much, but we made the most of it when we did have a membership. My oldest loves the ice rink, as he used to play hockey. The older 2 love playing the over sized games!

Six Flags The Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom Fun Park
1172 State Route 9,
Queensbury,
New York 12804
This was one place we always visited once a year on July 4, when we took the kids to Lake George. There was always something fun and exciting to do, and the kids never wanted to leave...and honestly, neither did we! We may visit sometime in the future!

Holiday Inn Syracuse-Liverpool-Exit 37
441 Electronics Pkwy,
Liverpool, New York
We stayed here as a family in 2000. It was close to many parks and attractions, as well as many places to go out to eat with the family. The rooms were wonderful, and ours had a couch for much needed relaxing and reading! They were very accommodating to us and our child.
