About Me & My Family
First time parents to a sweet little boy! Attachment parenting, natural mommy.
We also love taking extended family trips with younger siblings and cousins. It is a lot of fun to travel with kids, despite the many challenges. I've learned to be prepared for anything!

Our Favorite Vacation Spot
Disney World
A Place We'd Love To Visit
New Zealand
Favorite Vacation Memory
Spent two weeks camping out in Guyana! No Cell Phones, Music Players, Computers, etc. Fabulous!
Worst Travel Moment With My Kids:
We took a trip to a Lake Winola in Pennsylvania and decided to do fun lake activities. So we took our little boat and went tubing. I'm always one to have fun and try new things so I did it too. I ended up going face-first into the lake and swallowing buckets of water! I got quite sick from this, but there was no time for recovery as the kids wanted to go to visit all sorts of places. Luckily the ill feeling lasted only 24 hours so I was back to my old self shortly.

John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum
397 Main Street,
Hyannis,
Massachusetts 02601
My grandma and I visited Hyannis and we loved seeing this Museum. My Grandma is a huge Kennedy fan so it was a lot of fun. However, if you are going on a trip with smaller children, this might not be the place for them. The museum is full of photos and interesting information, and there was a good movie as well. We enjoyed it, but the families there with little kids did not seem to like it as much.

Mayflower II
137 Warren Avenue,
Plymouth,
Massachusetts 02360
This was the most fun part of Plymouth Rock was visiting this Mayflower Replica and being able to go around the ship. Of course the staff is dressed up like Pilgrims and try to give you a good feel of the day. It was a lot of fun and will take up much more time than just visiting Plymouth Rock.

Plymouth Rock
Water Street,
Plymouth,
Massachusetts 02360
This was a fun trip! My brother and I enjoyed seeing Plymouth Rock even though it was pretty small. But there was a gift shop that we liked browsing. It won't take up a whole day here, but you could plan a nice day trip around being in Plymouth. We were staying in Boston and were able to drive here very easily with no GPS or anything.

Blizzard Beach
1500 W Buena Vista Dr,
Exit 65 off I-4,
Lake Buena Vista,
Florida 32830
There are a few Disney Water Parks and this one is great! There are so many slides and activities here. Lots to do for big people and children. Because it is the "newer" of the water parks it tends to be a little more crowded than Typhoon Lagoon. Plan a flexible vacation and pick a "sunny" day to go to the water park. You can dodge the rain at the other parks like the Magic Kingdom etc. But at the water parks if there is severe rain/lightening you have to get out and sit and wait. So try to hit the water park when the weather looks the best.

Busch Gardens
3000 Busch Boulevard,
Tampa,
Florida
I love this park! It is by far my favorite amusement park in Florida! There are so many thrill rides for older kids and adults. There is a good play place for younger children. If you have a less adventurous older child, there is not really much for them to do here. If you are too big for the little kid park, but don't like roller coasters you may not have much fun if the rest of your group likes roller coasters. If your group is flexible there are more things like animal exhibits, shows and food places that everyone can enjoy.
