The best time of the year to go to Mission Inn is around Christmas time. They have what they call the festival of lights. The kids absolutely love this. Everything is deckd out with Christmas decor and they have tons of Christmas lights. It is always super busy though so keep a close eye on your kids.

This trail is great for walking, jogging, or riding your bike. There are a lot of people that walk this trail daily but make sure you bring your pepper spray in case there are not very many people beacause it is surronded with trees and there are lots of homeless people.

It's the Ritz so what else would you expect? The stay was perfect. We had a room overlooking the ocean and the room was very nice. The staff was very helpful and kind. Rooms were very clean. Salt Creek beach is right next door which is great for the kids.

So our family just moved to southern CA and we were really really excited to see the whales. We took a whale watching boat ride and we did see the whales but only there tails :( Our tour guide said that we couldn't get very close so it was hard for the little kids to see.

My family loves Lees Sandwiches. This is a great place to eat and it is cheeper than subway. My little one is only 1 but we get her the baquett which is only $1 and she eats it right up. When you go don't forget to order some iced coffee becaus it is so....yummy!
