Statue of Liberty
Liberty Island,
New York (Manhattan),
New York
"a must go place in New York city"
Well, this place is obviously such a famous place to visit. It's a great place for both adults and kids to visit, since in my point of view, it represents the spirit of America. We enjoyed taking the ferry there as well as climbing up to the base of the statue. Unfortunately, we could not make it to the crown because of the security reason. Also, the price of ticket is cheap :)
Here are some tips:
1. Try to get there early, around 8-8:30 AM in the morning, so you don't have to wait in the lines. Otherwise, it will take forerver.
2. Take pictures of the Statue both in the ferry and on the island.
3. I think going there in the winter is more beautiful.

Madame Tussauds

"Good wax museum to visit"
It's a cool place and I personally think that it's good to be there at least once. It's fun to see a lot of famous people around. My kids were just jumping from one wax figure to the another. Taking pictures with Obama, or Michael Jackson should be great, right? They even have Dalai Latma there.
The only down-point is that the ticket is quite expensive. It's something like $35 plus tax. Too much for us!

Central Park
Terrace Drive and East Drive,
New York (Manhattan),
New York 10021
We were there last year around Christmas and it was so amazing. It's an escape from the overcrowded New York city, especially in the winter, I think. We really enjoyed the peaceful, relax and quiet atmosphere there. There are also beautiful bridges and lakes around. My kids were playing with snow all the time there and they were so much happy since we're from California, and no snow ever here!

Bacchini's Fruit Tree

"great experience for kids"
Kids can pick cherries by themselves and eat as much as possible. The adults do too. The greatest thing is our kids know about the natural ripened fruit on the trees. They will feel they are parts of nature. The service and parking at Bacchini are really good. Their staffs are so nice with children.

Lombard Street (Crookedest Street)
Lombard Street, between Hyde and Leavenworth,
San Francisco,
California
It's "the crookedest street in the world". Many beautiful flowers are planted along the street. If you come in the spring, all your family will be excited, especially the children. You can take photos at the top or the bottom of the street. Your kids will be impressed by what they see, and the street and flowers will be their good memories.
