Nashville Public Library - Downtown
615 Church St. ,
Nashville,
Tennessee
We enjoy going to story time at the library for a close to home activity. It is free and entertaining. They read a couple of stories but also have music time and are good at involving the children in the audience into the "performance". it is a large space and creative looking theater. They have multiple storytimes each week so it is easy to find a time that works for your child's schedule.

"Surprisingly Kid Friendly "
We just had a wonderful one night stay at this hotel. I wasn't expecting them to be as sweet and accomodating to my 9 month old son as they were! At check in, they came out with a basket of small stuffed animals for him to choose one. They have both pack and plays and cribs. We chose a pack and play and it came with clean soft sheets, put together and ready for use. The room was large enough that we were able to tuck his pack and play behind the desk and make a little "room" for him. The next morning we headed down to the warm, indoor pool where we were greeted with smiles. He loved playing and they brought over a cute rubber duck for him to play with in the pool and take home as a treat from his stay.

Tennessee Aquarium
One Broad Street,
Chattanooga,
Tennessee 37402
We stayed near the aquarium in downtown chattanooga and enjoyed being able to walk their and to the other attractions nearby. Had I not also been to the Georgia Aquarium, then I would rank this higher, but this one did not have as many exhibits, or "big ticket" animals.

Ikea Atlanta
441 16th Street NW,
Atlanta,
Georgia 30363
While I love IKEA for their reasonably priced furniture and home accessories (my favorite place for items such as organizational items, rugs, baskets, and wine glasses!, I recently learned it is equipped for kid friendly shopping! They have a family bathroom equipped with clean changing table, diapers, wipes, a play area and a nursing area for nursing mothers! There is a play area for children, a restaurant and a cafeteria style line with cheap pizza, sodas, and treats. We always make a stop by when we're in Atlanta!

Georgia Aquarium
225 Baker Street NW,
Atlanta,
Georgia
This is an amazing aquarium. Kids of all ages are in awe of the animals, both large and small. While we did not take advantage of it, there is an opportunity for swimming with the whale sharks, if you plan ahead. Highly recommended and top of my list for Atlanta activities for kids!
