Thunder Alley Bowling Alley
1224 Magnolia Village Way,
Leland,
North Carolina 28451
"Thunder Alley Bowling"
This is absolutley and amazing bowling alley that is brand new and designed specifically for kids and family - no drinking or smoking allowed. The lanes are high tech and they have special ramps for kids and rails that pop up so that kids can have fun being successful at bowling. There are also a ton of cool games where you win tickets for prizes - much like Chuck-E-Cheese except newer, nicer and much cleaner. Worth a trip to this bowling alley! It also has a great restuarant with very healthy food.

Wrightsville Beach Pier | kids travel, kids activities
Wrightsville Beach Pier
Wrightsville Beach,
Wrightsville Beach,
North Carolina
"Wrightsville Beach"
I wouldn't recommend taking your children to the Wrightsville Beach pier or to park anywhere near it to go to the beach, but I would recommend beach access 4 - it's an L shaped parking lot with a shower and the beach is very nice and not crowded. I would recommend a trip to the Trolley Stop for a hot dog - be prepared to wait in a long line for one in the summer. K-38 burritos is also good.

NC Zoo | kids travel, kids activities
NC Zoo
4401 Zoo Parkway ,
Asheboro,
North Carolina 27205
"NC Zoo"
This was a nice zoo, but too much walking and way too spread out. I did like the little play area with the over sized vegetables to play on. My kids loved the frozen lemonade, but I think they liked staying at the Hampton Inn there better than going to the zoo. We got in free due to our home aquarium membership was reciprocal.

Omni Charlotte Hotel | kids travel, kids activities
Omni Charlotte Hotel
132 E Trade St,
Charlotte, North Carolina
"Omni Hotel - Charlotte"
This was a very nice hotel with extremely comfortable beds. It's located in the heart of downtown Charlotte and walking distance from the Discovery Center - a great center for kids. It's very clean and offers a buffet for breakfast. I would highly recommend for taking the kids with you. Lots of fun kid friendly restaurants within walking distance.

Disneys Port Orleans Resort - Riverside | kids travel, kids activities
Disneys Port Orleans Resort - Riverside
1251 Riverside Dr,
Lake Buena Vista, Florida
"Port Orleans - French Quarter"
We stayed at the French quarter side - it was very clean, very nice and had a great serve yourself restaurant. We found it very convenient to the parks. You really felt like you were in New Orleans - the pool was nice too - great slide. We loved it- the rooms were plenty big and extremely clean!
