Jekyll Island Beaches | kids travel, kids activities
Jekyll Island Beaches
901 Downing Musgrove Causeway,
Jekyll Island,
Georgia
"georgia beach"
we went down to georgia a couple of years ago (only one child then) to visit friends and went to this beach. it was nothing like at home, i think i'm just partial to North Carolina beaches, it seemed very dirty and there were lots of bugs that day. I definitly think i'm biased those as I don't like change.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg | kids travel, kids activities
Busch Gardens Williamsburg
One Busch Gardens Blvd.,
Williamsburg,
Virginia 23187
"busch gardens"
fun for families with older children but if you're going with young children (5 and under) i'd recommend either waiting or going and planning to break it up into 2-3 days with one of their multi days passess it's just too much walking for th elittle ones to do it all in one day.

Jamestown Settlement | kids travel, kids activities
Jamestown Settlement
2218 Jamestown Road,
Route 31 S,
Jamestown,
Virginia 23185
"jamestown"
we did not paticurlary enjoy jamestown settlement it would be education and interseting for an adult only trip or for older children maybe even a fun field trip but definitly isn't for the 5 and under crowd, the kids would be bored, not much to hold their interest.

Water Country USA | kids travel, kids activities
Water Country USA
176 Water Country Pkwy,
Williamsburg,
Virginia 23185
"water country"
We love love water country, my one year old hasn't been yet but our four year old has been several times, i'll take our youngest when she's old enough to understand simply directions like sit still and hold on tight she doesn't get that yet. they do provide lifevests, it's a good day trip and much better than busch gardens which is just too much stimulation and walking and not enough entertainment for younger kids.

The Beach | kids travel, kids activities
The Beach
Atlantic Avenue,
Virginia Beach,
Virginia
"virgina beach"
we went to virgina beach one time with the children and i have to say i like our home town beaches better but then again i don't like change. the prices seemed really inflatted and the aquarium was under construction when we went. it was very crowded but i guess any beach has that potential.
