Paia Fish Market Restaurant
110 Hana Highway,
Paia,
Hawaii
After a long drive to and from Hana, we stopped in Paia for dinner. I checked the reviews on this and thought it sounded great. There was a huge selection of food, my boys were in heaven with the fish & chips (they were delish) I had the fish tacos and my hubby enjoyed a big fish burger! The prices are reasonable and the place is cute! Highly recommend this if you 're ever in Paia!

Ruth's Chris Steak House (Maui - Wailea)
3750 Wailea Alanui,
Kihei,
Hawaii
We were craving steak on our Hawaiian vacation and stopped here! We've never been to a Ruth's Chris before so we figured what better time to try it out. The food was great, a little pricey for what you get but it was good. They have a great children's menu with lots of options.

Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa
200 Nohea Kai Drive,
Lahaina, Hawaii
We just got back from a week in Maui, where we stayed at the Hyatt. I think my boys would have been happy had we stayed at the hotel the entire time! LOL I will agree that the pool was crowded and you needed to get there early for a chair (or two) but the pool was great. They even have a basketball hoop and my boys enjoyed that! The kiddie pool area and slides were a big hit with my crew! We'll be back next summer!!

Powell's City of Books
1005 W Burnside,
Portland,
Oregon 97029
Now I have been to my fair share of bookstores in my lifetime, but nothing beats Powell's! My dad had told me how amazing it is when he first moved to Portland, but I just didn't get it until we walked in! My boys were too young when we first went, but they enjoyed looking at everything. Now they are big time readers and will appreciate this bookstore on our next visit! I'm pretty sure we'll be spending a good portion of our day here!

Portland Children's Museum
Washington Park,
4015 SW Canyon Rd.,
Portland,
Oregon 97221
This place is amazing! I wish we had a Children's Museum half as great as this one! There is so much to see and do you could spend the entire day here! There's stuff for the little ones and the big kids too! You can work with clay, build things and they have these amazing MagnaBlocks that I couldn't get my kids to let go of. I ended up buying the blocks from Amazon.com! We'll be back on our next visit in the fall!
