Gold Coast Railroad Museum

"must do for train loving boys!"
This train museum is a must do for little boys who love trains and train sets. In the front there are old trains to look at as well as a few to ride. Then you walk towards the back and there is a building filled with train models and at least 20 train tables set up for the kids to play with the train sets. Our little guy was in love. He freaked out when we had to leave because he was having so much fun with all those trains.

Tranquility Bay Beach House Resort
2600 Overseas Hwy,
Marathon, Florida
This is one of our favorite vacation spots. The accommodations are little cottages right on the water. There is a tiki bar that serves yummy food right on the beach so the kids can play in the sand and you can eat while you look out over the water. There are a lot of activities for when kids are older as well. There is also a sit down restaurant that has wonderful food. There are two pool areas. The one that allows kids is very nice and spacious so we didn't feel crowded. It was very relaxing. We will go back.

SeaWorld Orlando
7007 SeaWorld Drive,
Orlando,
Florida 32821
Sea World has a lot to do but the main reason we always went was the see the Shamu show. While I understand the reasons for not having the trainers in the water with the large whales anymore, it definitely feels like the new setup is lacking. The food is just ok but if your kids like aquariums in general this is a nice place to go. Just not as exciting as it used to be.

Brevard Zoo
8225 North Wickham Road,
Melbourne,
Florida 32940
This is a nice little zoo with a really great water play/pool area for kids as well as a nice little petting zoo area. The thing I was most disappointed in was that they had no lions or tigers but there is a train ride and plenty to do for little ones. A nice place to go when you have an afternoon off. I would recommend feeding the birds as well, that was a blast!

Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa
4000 S Sandestin Blvd,
Destin, Florida
This place is amazing! Right on the most beautiful beaches with snow white sand and blue/green clear water. There are tons of things for families to do. You can rent bikes, hang at the beach, go to one of the many pools. There is also a place called Baytowne Wharf that has a lot of shops and restaurants along with a great play ground. There are usually fireworks there for the 4th of July as well as New Years. They have concerts and parades as well.
