Favorite Vacation Memory
Well, we haven't quite vacationed much with Archer these days. Trying to break that trend actually. Right now all our favorite vacation memories were when we were still just a married couple with no kids. Haven't quite transitioned into full freedom with the whole traveling with kids scenario.
Worst Travel Moment With My Kids:
Flying home from Chicago back to San Francisco and through Orange County, we were traveling all day, with a 4 hour layover and a flight cancellation. We were tired, cranky and frustrated that we had to wait 4 hours in Orange County only to be told our flight was canceled, then to have to wait another hour to get our voucher for the hotel, then another hour to get the shuttle to the hotel, then another 30 mins to get into our room and then had to then wait for the pack n play so we could put Archer to sleep and at this point it was midnight!!! It was horrible! To make matters worse, our rescheduled flight was delayed and then when we arrived in San Francisco, the airline had lost our carseat so we had to waste another hour filling out paperwork and getting a loaner so we could get home. Nightmare!

"Archer hearts exploring!"
There were definitely too many favorites. Highly recommend the train room and the musical instruments area outside. He also love love loved the water area outside where they had little plastic fishies and frogs for them to play with. There's a lot of fun areas to explore and the membership is reasonable for the year. A must see!

"LOVE taking baby for walks there"
It's a great place for beautiful stroller walks outside. Ocean views, lots to look at and a lot of great window shopping and places to eat. I love meeting my girlfriends and kids here for play dates. Plenty of grassy knolls for kids to run around in. Usually quite sunny and beautiful.

"Great for adults and ok for kids"
There wasn't a whole lot of play area or places for kids especially. It's definitely geared more towards adults. There was a nice area outside that was nice but it wasn't that big. Of course, when I went with our son, he was under 18 mos so that pretty much explains it. They were also very particular about where you can bring strollers.

"Great for adults not so much for little kids"
I always love going to this museum but alas, not so exciting for little ones. Definitely not much there to keep them entertained except the gift shop! Best to go there when you've got babysitting. Our son is 20 mos so I think definitely would appeal to older kids not young ones.

"One of the BEST Museums ever!"
We went to Chicago to visit my parents and we spent 2 days in Chicago and visited the Museum of Science and Industry. It seriously has everything. You could be there for 2 days and still explore. We watched little chicks hatch from their eggs and our son loved it. We definitely will be coming back for more exploration when Archer gets older. There was an entire floor of just trains and a wonderful exhibit that promoted Green Living. We also got to walk through an ECO house. The best!
