Ardenwood Historic Farm
34600 Ardenwood Blvd.,
Fremont,
California 94555
"Great for train and animal lovers"
This historic farm is preserved in great condition and attracts history lovers and kids as well. If you are interested into agriculture, history, nature, trains or just simple plain outdoors, you will love this. Board the train and ride around the majestic eucalyptuses. Then admire the old tractors and wonderfully preserved farming building. Pet the goats and see the huge turkeys.
The house is also great, but indoor tours are not available for kids under six and you can't bring any food or drinks inside.

Yerba Buena Gardens
750 Mission Street,
San Francisco,
California 94103
"The playground is amazing"
If you have a cranky kid yearning for some fun that is not offered in the museum, head to the Yerba Buena Gardens. The gardens itself are great for a picnic type lunch, but the huge playground located in the end is amazing! The slides are for older kids, but youngsters will love the numerous activity sets as well. Public restrooms are nearby and the carousel on the west side is just a cherry on top.

Aquarium of the Bay San Francisco
The Embarcadero & Beach Street,
San Francisco,
California 94133
"Marine life at it's best"
Amazing aquarium offers various exhibitions for kids of all ages. At first you have to go through the "tricky" part - gift store located at the entrance. The moving walkway is perfect for moms with strollers, who want to rest, meanwhile daddies carrying toddlers on their shoulders give them perfect view on the sharks swimming in the glass tunnel. The marine petting zoo is also another popular feature. You will love it!

Cable Car Ride
Downtown San Francisco,
San Francisco,
California
"Try it without the stroller"
Cable cars are great adventure in a modern city. Choose a line you want to try and be sure you come to the end stop on time. It gets crowded easily and with kids in tow you may want to be seated. You can also bring and umbrella stroller with you, because it is folds easily and you can use it for another transportation. With five dollars per person it is kinda pricey, but must-do activity in San Francisco. Kids will be delighted!

Lombard Street (Crookedest Street)
Lombard Street, between Hyde and Leavenworth,
San Francisco,
California
Want to snap adorable pictures of your children with some unique background? Then go to the crookedest street and get your camera ready! You may elbow couple of tourists, but what parent wouldn't do that? The best idea is visit this place by foot or take a cable car. Car ride can be little stressful, because the street is REALLY crook and no one will let you stand in a place for a longer time.
