"Lots of Excitement"
This is one interactive museum that was totally worth the price. Only regret is that we went mid-afternoon and didn't realize you could leave and come back. If we had known we would have went in the morning and then came back again in the afternoon. The kids had so much fun. The roller coaster simulator was a big hit. Everything was truly an interactive experience and lots of fun for the kids and adults.

"Ripley's Maze"
We went into the house of mirrors, which was pretty costly. We were able to find our way out in under five minutes. You could go through a second maze, but it was just the opposite end of the first one. You could also go in repeatedly, but once you figure it out the first time you know where to go, so what's the point.

Niven's Apple Orchard
130 Orchard Drive,
Moore,
South Carolina 29369
"Fun but Pricey"
Niven's is a nice apple orchard with plenty of activities for the kids. You can pick play in their large play area and see different farm animals. Everything else is going to cost you. They have a fun hayride, but is is expensive for the entire family. They also have a corn maze, but it is costly too. Their store is neat and fully stocked. You can buy your apples or pick your own. The apple prices aren't too bad.

"Great for the Family"
Skytop is by far the best apple orchard we have been to. The apple cider donuts are so scrumptious! They have a great hayride, play area for the kids, and animals to feed. The view is breath taking. You can buy your apples or pick your own. The also have apple cider slushies to cool off on a hot day. The kids loved picking their own to see who could get the biggest one.

"Barefoot Landing"
This is more of an adult type of place. It is mainly shopping and restaurants. The shops don't really have much appeal unless you are looking for something unique. If you need a good restaurant though, The House of Blue is excellent. It does take a long time to get the food, but is because it is homemade. However, it is worth the wait and very kid friendly. The kids can draw on the butcher paper while you wait on your food.
