"Relaxed, Friendly, Healthy Fun"
The community center has a lot of options for your typical rec center fun. The indoor pool is great with a huge water slide, shallow baby area, lap pool, lazy river and small dinosaur slide. The cardio workout area is adequate but can get crowded. The classes offered are fantastic- especially the dance classes.

"Beauty But Not Much More"
There are a lot of great trails that kids can easily access. The paved handicap accessible 'trails' are great and SUPER easy. The area is gorgeous but, other than hiking, there isn't much more to do in the park. The park is very well maintained and the park rangers always seem to be around to help.

"WONDERFUL Tip Back in Time"
The annual Fall Festival is NOT TO BE MISSED! There are so many opportunities to learn about the past. I wish the festival was all month long as this is a place that you could visit multiple times and still learn something new. My young children LOVED touring the old homestead house and still talk about it (a year later). These type of areas are fast becoming extinct so please support this preservation of history!

"Nice, New Exhibits But Too Expensive to Make Regular Visits"
All of the exhibits seem to be brand new and there are lots of hands-on adventures. There is a tiger exhibit, which is odd in an aquarium, but delightful to kids none the less. Having visited the Chicago Aquarium hundreds of time, we finished the 'loop' of Denver Aquarium exhibits and had a 'Is that it?!' feeling. The sting ray area at the end is really cool as the kids can 'pet' the animals. Overall, this is a beautiful aquarium with fantastically maintained exhibits but the cost to visit is very restrictive. Membership isn't a much cheaper option. I wish it were cheaper and then, maybe, I'd be less critical of the smaller size.

"TERRIBLE Food But Kids LOVE The Adventure"
If only the food were actually edible, this place would be awesome. Cliff divers, games, LOTS of fun AFTER you eat the 'all-you-can-eat' slop that they call food. The cheese-food that they drown your plate in appears to be 90% plastic and 10% food-based. The price of the 'meal' is also ridiculously high, but I guess you're paying more for adventure than food. It's incredible that they fit all of the activities under one roof. The audio for the cliff-divers was terrible last time we were there- hopefully that was just a temporary problem.
