Worst Travel Moment With My Kids:
Flying in a plane with my oldest on our way to Tennessee. He was screaming (he was like 2 at the time) and everyone was giving me the evil eye.

Grandma's Favorite Campgrounds
My parents like spending time with their grandkids and one of the ways they do this is by taking them camping every couple of months. So, I asked my mom to make me a list of her favorite camping spots so that I could share it with my fellow trekaroo friends. The current ages of grandkids are 7, 6 and 4. The current camping vehicle is a 5th wheel that I could comfortably live in.

Large campsites and many of them are waterfront. You can fish, ride bikes and canoe. It's close to the ocean and the Fort.

"Waterfront Camping"
North Beach is such a great place to camp. Our campsite was right on the water and there were a lot of trees on the property that provided the perfect amount of shade on a hot summer day.My boys and their cousin ages 7,6 and 4 had a fantastic time building forts and hunting for wild life at the campsite. We were minutes from the St. Augustine attractions and the beach but they wanted to hang out at the campsite the entire time.
There was a large pool onsite. There was a ramp going into the pool that the boys really enjoyed playing on. Outside of the pool area was a shower that was used for the pool and for rinsing off from the beach. The beach was right across from the property. It was a nice beach with lots of shells.
There appeared to be an airport across the river from our campsite so we enjoyed watching the planes land and take off while we roasted marshmallows or enjoyed a cup of coffee.
While on our trip one of the boys came down with something so I was so happy to find a Publix right up the road.
If you enjoy camping in style this is the place to do it. It's so relaxing and beautiful you truly won't want to leave.
