Our family has been to LEAF three times and is looking forward to heading back in a couple of weeks. Everyone is super friendly, the music is amazing, the food is great. The kids are free to roam and explore, and the activities are diverse enough to fit our family's interests from trapeze and zip-line to knitting and music.

"High Sierra Music Festival"
High Sierra is in its 21st year, so that must prove we know a thing or two about logistics of producing a music festival. Our festival takes place at a County Fairgrounds (Plumas County) so there is lots of infrastructure (real toilets, real showers etc). We also now offer professional, certified childcare (for a fee) with "the Rockin Nannies" who offer games, movies and other activities for the kids at night so mom and dad can have some quality time by themselves.

The folk and bluegrass music festival takes place outdoors on Reservoir Hill in downtown Pagosa Springs, Colo. The venue is beautiful and in-town. Pagosa Springs itself is located in southwest Colorado’s San Juan Mountains, surrounded by the three million-acre San Juan National Forest, and adjacent to the largest contiguous wilderness area in the nation, the Weminuche Wilderness. Pagosa Springs is home to the largest and hottest natural mineral outflow in the world, with the springs noted for their healing and restorative qualities.
