We Just Got Back From
Visiting Tybee Island, Georgia. The lighthouse tour and beaches are a family favorite!
Our Favorite Vacation Spot
Wherever we go next....thanks to Trekaroo, I always have a great group of reviews to help me plan a fantastic vacation!
A Place We'd Love To Visit
During the winter, anywhere with snow and easy airport access :-)
Favorite Vacation Memory
One of my favorite vacation memories was seeing my daughter splashing in the Boca Beach Club kiddie pool. Also, the first time she saw snow in Park City, Utah at the Park City Mountain Resort. She's still talking about ski school years later! Visiting Cancun! We recently visited Miami and explored South Beach, South Miami and Coral Gables. We also visited Innisbrook Golf Resort and Spa near Tampa Bay, Florida. Be sure to read my reviews about the resort and their Indaba Spa. What an amazing experience! Also, a holiday in France (wonderful home exchange--thanks for the ideas on Trekaroo!)
Worst Travel Moment With My Kids:
Dangerous weather conditions or any other unexpected airport delay. Security delays at the airport!

"Great for couples not kids"
This is a wonderful town with lots of charming, cute shops and restaurants.  We love to visit here but downtown Dunedin is best suited for a couples retreat rather than a family friendly adventure.  Stroll along Main Street towards the marina for a romantic, laid back day.  The kids will enjoy watching the boats and pelicans at the marina but might get a bit bored with the shops.

January 27 events include visual and audio exhibits and events including textiles, art, music, and a performance of the Red Dragon Dance. Pei Wei Asian Diner providing a taste of authentic cuisine caters the event. There will also be a cash bar set up for select wine and beer. Tickets for the cultural event include entertainment and food. Tickets can be purchased in advance at a discounted rate through January 20.

"Snooty the Manatee"
We love visiting Snooty the Manatee and the planetarium at this South Florida landmark.  The museum and planetarium were recently renovated and it sparkles with interactive exhibits, friendly staff and interesting and informative star shows.  The gift shop has many tempting souvenirs.  Plan a visit today...you and your children will love it!
