About Me & My Family

Three little girls run amuck in this house, so there are days when we just HAVE to get out and get going somewhere. We love zoos, parks, beaches, and traveling around to visit friends and family. We enjoy finding awesome deals for places that are kid friendly. Taking our three girls with us as we travel around the country is by far our most favorite thing to do.

A Place We'd Love To Visit

Favorite Vacation Memory
After a long day of sledding and climbing through the hills in Lake Tahoe, our family sat in front of the fireplace in our hotel and roasted marshmallows. The soft glow on my girl's faces, mixed with their hazy, tired eyes made the warmth of the fire mean so much more.
Worst Travel Moment With My Kids:
Not realizing how crowded the city bus would be with my girls in San Francisco!! We had to make 4 connections and fold and collapse the stroller at each stop. It was back-breaking, frustrating and a LONG DAY!

"Not really for kids except Sunday Brunch"
Castaway is one of the nicer restaurants in the area, featuring grown up fare and a beautiful mountain top location overlooking the valley.  I have been here a few times on dates and have spotted absolutely no children.
During Sunday brunches and for special occasions (ie. Mother's Day, etc...) there are kids on the grounds and the variety of offerings work well for little ones.

A different sort of Christmas dinner, but full of fun!

"Interactive dining"
Gyukaku is an amazingly fun place to take your older kiddos for dinner.

I made the mistake of bringing along my 1 1/2 year old and spent the evening corralling her back into her high chair and AWAY from the hot grates and fire in front of us.

That being said, my older kids LOVED IT!!

We all enjoyed getting to cook our own food, and the smores at the end of the meal made for a very special treat!!
The all-you-can-eat price plans are really the way to go if you are at all hungry as the rest of the food can really add up on it's own.

What a fun way to enjoy your family, try new foods and not have to clean up the mess!!?? :)
