This 2.5 acre park includes a wading pool, adventure play area, tot play area, shade structure, bantam soccer field, two basketball courts, picnic areas and restroom.

A ton of picnic spots, tables, grassy fields, and SHADE. There's also a playground and children's water play area. Plenty of events take place throughout the year (Shakespeare in the Park, Doggie Dash, Trick or Treat @ Fairytale Town, marathons, festivals, etc.) and twice per year free admission to the Zoo (sponsored by Target, sponsored by the Sac Museum Assoc.).

Amenities at 19.9-acre Southside Park include a swimming pool, wading pool, three-quarter mile jogging trail, Southside Clubhouse, lake with fishing piers, accessible playground, par course with four fitness stations, amphitheatre, and picnic areas. Southside Community Garden is located one block from the park.

Doyle Pool is located in Northgate Park at Brewerton Drive and Mendel Way. Admission fees are $1 for children 17 years old and younger and $2 for adults 18 years and older - everyone pays to enter the pool
