Favorite Vacation Memory
Our absolute favorite vacation so far has been when we went to Yellowstone National Park. Our kids were little, so we didn't do a ton of hiking, but seeing the waterfalls, geysers and of course, the bison, were all incredible. We can't wait to go back!
Worst Travel Moment With My Kids:
No joke- every time we take a trip, at least 1 kid throws up in the car. Perhaps someday we can have a vomit-free vacation?!?

"The Zoo is fun for everyone!"
Fantastic place for kids and adults alike! There are both indoor and outdoor venues, so it's fun even during the cold months. Bring your own lunch for a picnic on the zoo grounds. They have a few restaurants, but the food isn't that great and is pricey. Splurge for fresh made Kettle corn though- YUM! From November- February, the last Wednesday of each month offers FREE admission!

"Small venue, but lots of fun!"
Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point is lots of fun, especially if you're looking to spend only a couple of hours out and about. There are lots of animals to see and kids can even ride a pony! There are some indoor exhibits as well, so even if it's cold outside, it's still a fun place to go.

"Surprisingly Fun!!"
I have to say, I wasn't thrilled about this activity the first time we went, but surprisingly, it was a lot of fun! I never thought walking around looking at a bunch of birds would be enjoyable, but the grounds are gorgeous and they have a lot of unique, interesting displays. The kids loved it! It's all outdoors, so bundle up in the wintertime.

"Small, but a fun place to wear the kids out!"
Not a big place at all, but the kids love to run around and see all the dinosaurs and play on the playground! It's open year round, so bundle up during cold months as it's all outside. "Fantastic Place to Learn & Have Fun!"
We enjoy simpler activities and this park fits the bill perfectly! Spend the extra $$ to go into the village. It's worth it to see the people dressed in pioneer garb and watch the different activities taking place. Kids are able to make a few fun crafts and learn about how life was for Pioneers. Even if you aren't religious, this is a great place to learn about American history. The park is beautiful too- located up on the east bench of SLC.
