Worst Travel Moment With My Kids:
We went camping in March, and ended up in a blizzard. One of the tent uprights broke in the storm and by the end of it the oldest (11 years old) was crying and her father was yelling.

When you are on vacation it's a good idea to try the local fare. Run of the Mill, every other corner restaurants are great, however to get a true taste of the vacation spot, you need to step out of your comfort zone and try something fun.

I have been going to The Shoppe since the first day it opened and I can tell you with seven children varying in ages of 2 - 18 years it is a HUGE hit.You can get a variety of flavors of cupcakes from red velvet and cream cheese, chocolate and peanut butter and Pumpkin Cheese cake. Then along side you can have a ton of different types of milk to wash it down. Soy, Whole milk and/or Chocolate, the sky is the limit.
Have a special breakfast planned for your birthday kid? How about eating cereal out after a slumber party with his/her friends? The Shoppe has cereal and topping combos... Oh... and for the sleepy mom and dad, Coffee.
They also have games, books and meet-ups for various crafting people. It's a ton of fun and kids will love it!

"Over 30 years of Family fun!"
I have heard through my network of friends, "This is the BEST chicken I've ever had." That is a huge compliment when you know that all my friends are comfort food fanatics.This place is so much fun, it has an energy about it that makes kids feel like kids, and adults love every moment watching the little ones frolic.
WFF is closed on Mondays and the entire month of January and most days opens around 4pm. They have a petting zoo, family style dishes and an old time gift shop.
Take the kids, grand kids and neighbors, let them run outside, play in the play area and enjoy an evening amongst the animals and the great food!

Every pizza is fresh made, the crust is PERFECT dessert with honey and the entire place is eco-friendly run with solar panels and gluten free crust.

"Best Pizza in the mountains"
Beau Joe's is one of the only type of pizza I will eat. It does not have a soggy crust and there are so many varieties of pizza and sauce that you might have a hard time choosing.My kids love going there because the floors creak, there are so many different people to look at, the pizzas are HUGE and the salad bar has a ton of choices.
It is also one of those places that makes you feel good, their crust is gluten free, the energy is made through solar and wind power. Oh, and trust me when I say the kids will want to go upstairs to the bathroom, the hand dryer is SUPER powerful.
This is a wonderful place to take children, out of towners and just a fun date night away from Denver.

The oldest restaurant in Denver, wall to wall animals, leathers and old time guns. If you want to WOW an out of town guest or your mini-cowboy... this is the place to do it.

"Denver's Oldest Restaurant"
Between exotic foods (What kid doesn't want to go to school and tell his/her friends they ate rattlesnake?), the great entertainment and animals/guns and leather lining the walls, there is a bit of history emanating from the walls of the Buckhorn Exchange.This is Denver's oldest restaurant, in fact, for you parents, their liquor license is 1. Yep.. the first one ever given out in Denver. What a cool place this is to bring your kids, Alligator, buffalo and even Rocky Mountain oysters can be found here.
Take your family and go on an adventure for a little while!

"Cute place, food isn't so great"
My kids love it, even as teens they still talk about the time we all went to Casa Bonita.I enjoy being here with little ones because they love it, they love the non-mexican food and entertainment.
It's worth the time for them to have the memory.
