This relatively unknown town is filled with fun for kids of all ages, but especially for toddlers and preschoolers. During our time in Tennessee, I didn't think that we'd have much fun out here, but our little ones had a blast.

The Tennessee Aquarium is always a hit with toddlers and preschoolers who love to learn and see life under water. Our favorite exhibits were the penguins, seahorses and playful otters.

The Creative Discovery Museum is a castle-like children's museum that your toddler and pre-schooler will thoroughly enjoy. Our little ones loved the RiverPlay water area and the Rooftop Fun Factory.

If your toddler or preschooler is obsessed with modes of transportation, this will blow their mind. The Incline Railway is a steep trolley that climbs up Lookout Mountain for a beautiful view of the Great Smoky Mountains.

A great place to have a picnic with the kids after a day at the Aquarium. It's an easy walk for older kids, but you might want to bring the stroller for your toddlers if they've been on their feet all morning at the aquarium. A wooden carousel, waterplay area and playground are exactly what a toddler or preschooler loves while on vacation.
