Worst Travel Moment With My Kids:
I’ll never forget flying home from Honolulu with my 1.6 month old son on Delta. The plane did not have milk for the flight and even though I boarded early, not one person thought to inform me that the plane was not stocked with milk. My son was still drinking from a bottle at this time and freaked out over having to go 5 hours without a bottle. This old cranky lady behind me was loudly complaining the whole flight about how she was tired of hearing my son cry (as if I wasn’t.) I wanted to scream (but did not) at every employee on the plane for not informing me the plane was out of milk until we were up in the air.

The parking lot is just a stone's throw from the first lift. One of the advantages at Donner Ski Ranch is that the lodge is right next to the parking lot. There is no long walk or bus to reach the lodge.

Comment:
You can usually park about 100 yards from the first lift. Boreal has a large parking lot so you and your family will waste no time finding a parking spot.

(Exit 180 off I-80) Truckee, California
Comment:
Super convienant parking, right in front of the lodge. Soda Springs offers 3 parking lots. There is no long haul carrying gear from a far off parking structure. It's car to slopes with little effort. The lifts are all within site.

Easy and ample parking for this compact ski area.

Comment:
Getting here before 9 am ensures easy parking. Many Tahoe skiers are season passholders who may only ski till noon, if you're just going to ski half day, drive all the way up to the lodge and look for empty parking spots vacated by the early bird passholders.

Get here early if you can, and if you can't drive as close as possible to the first two lifts and look for empty spots.

Comment:
If you can't get there around 9 am, go to the gondola parking, ride the gondola over and save yourself the long trek. In 2005, the expansion of the resort’s Mt. Judah area made it easier for skiers to access the mountain via a new road and parking area. It also opened up a new chunk of intermediate terrain.
