Stores Mom and Kids Love in Seattle by Mompreneurs

Sometimes revered as the “Emerald City,” Seattle has a plethora of activities, greenery and beautiful natural scenery to offer families who are traveling with children.  It also has some dazzling niche boutique shops for the whole family, with many of them being Mom-owned businesses.  Climb to the highest hill and you will see a panoramic view of the Space Needle immersed in the cityscape with Mount Rainier, Puget Sound teaming with boats and ferries, and majestic islands in the distance.  Walk a few blocks around each view area and you are bound to run into a shop or two that beholds wonders of handmade products, exclusive boutique gifts and shop treasures.  Seattle is not a bad place to indulge in a little impulse-buying for you and your child and it’s a win-win situation in boutique stores where there is always something for each person in the family.
Rain or shine, the relaxed approach that is evident in the Seattle lifestyle makes it an uncomplicated place to travel with kids when shopping.  Start with a memorable walk through Pike’s Place Market that is riddled with fish throwing, cobblestone, artisan handmade products and Seattle culture and then venture out to shops owned by Mompreneurs.

Lily’s Pampering Salon located in one of Seattle’s most coveted neighborhoods – Queen Anne - is heaven for little girls and the ideal place to treat your pretty princess to a special haircut or manicure.  Though the main focus is products and services for girls, the salon offers a full range of services for both genders and all ages.  The location feels like a retreat while your sweet gets a little salon love and it hosts gobs of nail and hair products and is overflowing with gifts that will send your child overboard  with delight.

"Eye-candy"

Fireworks is a Seattle shop that was created years ago to showcase Pacific Northwest artisans.  It has grown to several locations through the city and is cleverly jam- packed with handmade goods, exclusive gifts and up-to-the-minute décor, like their signature star lights that can be found in many children’s rooms throughout the city.
