Spooky festivals and attractions for kids in Florida

October is such a fun month! Festivals and events are happening every week-end all around the state culminating with a big Day on the last day of the month.

Make sure that the events you are going to are suitable for your children. Some children are more sensitive than others so it is not really a matter of age but rather how easily they can get scared.

Lots is happening at Adventure Landing for Halloween! You have to go there for the Haunt Nights Oct 7-31. Shipwreck Island's Lil' St. Johns Lazy River in the waterpark becomes an outdoor haunted river ride, where passengers will hop on a raft that floats through spine-tingling terror of the beastly Bayou, and visit a haunted plantation house. Adventure Landing's laser tag arena will be converted to an insane house of horror, where risk-takers roam from room-to-room, facing their phobias and finding their way through a maze of morbid madness. Adventure Landing will also be hosting a Hallo-WEE Party on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. for children 12 and under (Haunt Nights is not recommended for children under 12).
