Worst Travel Moment With My Kids:
Being in a vacation rental with all of our extended family for the holidays. 13 people in all. Was supposed to be a wonderful week of fun, but 10 out of 13 got struck with the stomach virus for a week straight. The lowlights can be summed up in: 4 trips to the ER, 2 IVs for our one year old nephew and a concussion from freeze tag for my brother in-law. What a start to the new year!

"Great playground for kids "
We love this park. It's got all the basics from slides, swings, sand pit, plus all the perks like a fabulous water fountain play area for kids to cool off in the hot summer heat. There's plenty of space for kids to run and play all sorts of games like freeze tag or hide and seek.

"Fantastic park right off the highway"
This park was lots of fun for our toddler. There's plenty to climb, swing and slide on throughout the park. The water play area is also great for splashing around and building castles and forts out of the sand.

There's a really fun slide that goes down a hill into the back park of the play area. There are three of them side by side which is always fun for racing down. Busy with locals, it can also be a great pitstop if you're driving through and need a place for your kids to stretch out.

"Great play structures, but really far apart"
Like the previous review, John D. Morgan is great for kids, but the only reason it doesn't get the 5-star rating is because of the Long March between the two. If you want to brave it with toddlers and no strollers be sure to bring lots of snacks in order to keep them moving.

The play area on the Rincon Avenue side was fun because it had lots of wet, water features. There's a water spigot on top a long cement ramp. The kids can play with the water as it flows down and the best fun is found with an area that can pool with water about 6 inches deep. Perfect for mud jumping fun.

The main water area has a spiral twisty tube the kids can run through and get sprayed on with two fountains that shoot up from the ground. Looked pretty inviting to me.

This area is geared for younger kids ages 1-8. The park on the other side has a small play area for 5 and under, but the 2 story-tower climbing structure is definitely geared for older kids 3-12. Your toddlers might brave the walk up, but the climb up is not easy for little legs and the slide down is quite steep. My 2 year old loved trying to climb up, but happily climbed right back down after looking down the tube slide and not seeing any sign of light at the bottom.

Great fun and lots of shaded areas for picnicing and resting. You'll probably hear the arrival of an ice cream truck or two during the visit as well.

"Nice for locals"
Totally agree with the previous review on the Campbell playground equipment status. The bike/walking path is great. The water feature was less than exciting since it was just one arch that sprayed water. It's a fairly small area (probably no more than 8 ft x 8ft). If you're looking for water fun, I would recommend heading over to John D Morgan or Jack Fisher.

There was a fun little water pump in the little toddler area where the kids could fill up their buckets and then dump the water in the cement pipe that flowed into another cement bowl below. It was pretty dirty and filled in with tan bark and sand, but if you're willing to clean it up a little, it can serve as a great water table/play area for toddlers.

"Cozy, little park"
We stopped by Jack Fischer Park after a visit to John Morgan and it was a cute little park. I'm giving it 4 stars versus 3 because water features are a huge bonus to me during the hot summer months. The entire area is surrounded by trees which helps to provide shade when the kids take  break for snack.

The play equipment is geared for the younger set, ages 6 and under, but there's plenty of grass space for running around and other sports.

"An amusement park for toddlers"
Just took my 2 year old son to this park today for the first time and he just ran around for about 90 minutes straight happily entertained. There was just too much to do.

He started off working in the sand pits with his wheel loader, dump truck and other construction vehicles. We then migrated over to the climbing wall for a little bit of Mission Impossible type rock climbing. From there, we shot over to the splash park area and watched the older kids get sprayed by the huge fountains and shrieking with laughter and smiles. Last, he ran up and down the bike ramp for the remaining 30 minutes of our visit and thoroughly burned down the soles of his shoes.

We didn't even have time to check out the two play structures, but they seemed like your usual playground fare. There's a big tree in the middle of the play area which provides adequate shade. Limited shade in the other areas of the playground and water fountain area.

The main playground area isn't gated, but the smaller toddler play structure is.
