Splash parks in the East Bay (SF/Bay Area)

Inspired by the Peninsula splash park list here is what the East Bay has to offer (now only if it could offer us some sunny weather!).

"Fun, but hot, playground"
Sometimes things just are done well in the suburbs. I prefer suburban malls, suburban Starbucks and naturally suburban playgrounds. Like the malls and the Starbucks the playgrounds are often cleaner, bigger and better equipped than their urban counterparts. Civic Park playgrounds has all of the obvious playground amenities plus a few deluxe features: water/sand table and a climb-around-and-in-train. It gets pretty dang hot there in the summer but the water table and the big lawn with plenty of tree cover helps. Great fun for our 20 month old. It's right off the Iron Horse trail too so it makes for a fun biking destination.
