Pumpkin Patches & Corn Mazes on AL/MS/FL Gulf Coast

The temperatures are dropping (a little!) and the humidity is not as bad.  It must be time to start searching for the perfect pumpkin patch!  Another great family friendly activity is to get lost in a maze!

Holland Farms is one of the only pumpkin patches in the area where you can actually pick your pumpkin. The pumpkins are cut from the vine so you know which ones are ripe enough to pick but are in their original growing place.

"Pumpkins in the patch!"
Holland Farms is a peanut farm that you can visit.  Through the month of October, you can go out in their pumpkin patch, ride the tractor ride through the peanut fields, and walk the trails. The pumpkins are still in the patch but many are already cut from the vine so you know which ones are ready. I am not sure what types of activities are available during the year, but I do know that when you visit you get a cup of boiled peanuts that you can sit and eat on the front porch.
