About Me & My Family

Three little girls run amuck in this house, so there are days when we just HAVE to get out and get going somewhere. We love zoos, parks, beaches, and traveling around to visit friends and family. We enjoy finding awesome deals for places that are kid friendly. Taking our three girls with us as we travel around the country is by far our most favorite thing to do.

Favorite Vacation Memory
After a long day of sledding and climbing through the hills in Lake Tahoe, our family sat in front of the fireplace in our hotel and roasted marshmallows. The soft glow on my girl's faces, mixed with their hazy, tired eyes made the warmth of the fire mean so much more.
Worst Travel Moment With My Kids:
Not realizing how crowded the city bus would be with my girls in San Francisco!! We had to make 4 connections and fold and collapse the stroller at each stop. It was back-breaking, frustrating and a LONG DAY!

"Take a spa break!!"
Not exactly a family friendly spot, although older kids (guests must be 16 to enter) may enjoy a getaway with their moms to just relax and maybe gab about life, boys and any other important facts of life :)

If you can get a sitter, stop in here for some amazing pampering!!  The spa is full service and offers massages and body treatments, facials, nail care, and waxing.   In addition, the spa is located in the beautiful hills of Corona and your admission into the spa includes mineral baths, a lounge pool, club mud (cover your body in MUD!!), and your typical saunas and hot tubs.  There is a cafe on site for a yummy lunch and the Grotto, an underground club where you can get body moisturizing treatments.  This spa truly has it all and in the most amazing setting.

They frequently have specials, so be sure to check out their website.

"Superb food, adult ambience"
Although not your typical kid-friendly restaurant, Flemmings has just recently added a kid's menu that is sure to suit your steak-loving kiddo without them having to share a plate with you.  (there are actually plenty of options, but at the $15/kid price tag, I would steer them away from the mac & cheese,  however homemade it is)

The ambiance of this restaurant is fantastic for quiet, relaxing evenings, so I wouldn't bring your screaming toddler.  Sundays, they offer a prime-rib meal that is about 60% off their regular price of things & the happy hour specials in the bar are great if you happen to leave the kiddos with a sitter for an evening.

"Great food, great accomodations"
My family struggles with allergies and although this restaurant is full of lots of allergens, the staff is so helpful in finding food appropriate for my little ones.

They offer basically any type of food you can imagine, so finding something to satisfy your little one's taste buds will be easy-- and the cheesecake at the end of your meal-- how could you go wrong?

The restaurants are beautifully decorated, lit low, but well enough that your little ones can see, and are quite busy and loud, which helps you not feel that your kiddos have to keep the mute button on.

There is usually a wait for this restaurant, so call ahead and make reservations or arrive at an off-peak time to avoid meltdown.
